Goaltren.com - Manchester United did not show a special game when they won 2-0 over Benfica at Old Trafford last night, according to Dimitar Berbatov.

Red Devils won victory in the Champions League home games against the Portuguese team thanks to goalkeeper Mile Svilar own goal and Daley Blind penalty kick.

Berbatov said his former team did not show a special game, but he said it did not really matter as long as the club won the championship trophy.

"It was not a great game, but still a victory, three points," he said in BT Sport.
"Now they need one more point to get away."

"In general, there is nothing special, I'm sure they can do better than this. What do the fans want? Win a league or trophy and play badly? Or play beautiful but win no?"

"I chose to see them win something, and then after that, you can build a better team."

United will play against Chelsea in the Premier League match this weekend. (bts / rer)
