Goaltren.com - Manchester United manager Jose Mourinho has denied that he insulted Antonio Conte insisting he never spoke about the Chelsea manager.

Mourinho and Conte got involved in a row after the United boss criticized the coach for his injured 'injured' player, who is said to have been directed to the Italian man.

But the Portuguese man, whose team will face Huddersfield, says his comments have never been directed to a particular person.

"I'm not talking about him, I do not know why he's talking about me, but it's not a problem or maybe it's not his fault and the journalist who gave him different messages," said Mourinho at Goal International.

"There are many managers around the world who choose to complain about injuries, they are trying to find an excuse by mentioning the injury condition."

"Since last season we have a lot of injury problems and last season we did not have my Luke Ibrahimovic is vital to us and everybody knows what Pogba means to our team.

Mourinho added: "I did complain, but about the game schedule, I complained about the lack of rest time, I complained because I did not understand why we had to play on Saturday I never complained about the injury because I always talked about opportunities for other players. (gl / rer)
