Chelsea will face AS Roma on Champions League this week - Michael Owen predicts Chelsea will rise and can beat As Roma in the middle of this week in the Champions League group C advanced match.

Last weekend, Chelsea travel to the headquarters of Crystal Palace in the Premier League stage. Surprisingly Antonio Conte's troops were toppled with the score 2-1.

It was their second successive defeat in the Premier League. The previous Blues also lost when faced against Manchester City.

After the opponent Palace, Chelsea will host Roma in Matchday 3 Champions League at Stamford Bridge. This match is certainly a tough match because Roma is a very good and compact team.

Nevertheless, Owen predicted that Chelsea would be able to win the match. Because they are now playing in front of his own supporters at Stamford Bridge.
"The Blues gave the bettors, and Crystal Palace manager Roy Hodgson, help over the weekend with a 2-1 defeat at Selhurst Park," Owen said.

"But they are a much better team at home and should be able to beat the injured Roma team after losing 1-0 to Napoli in Serie A on Sunday," he explained.

Chelsea is currently at the top of the Champions League group C with a collection of six points from two games. Meanwhile, Roma is in the second position with four points from two matches. (mtr / dim)
